Did Jesus die for our sins? Did Jesus die in the cross?

2 Kings 146 "Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents each will die for their own sin. Everyone will die for their sin if they do not repent and come to God.

The same verse in the Quran Allah says: "No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another". Quran(6:164)

Allah says: "Every person is a pledge for what he has earned". Quran(74:38)

And Jesus said: "I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." Matthew 9:13

I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”Luke 5:32

Ezekiel 18:20 "The person who sins will die. The son will not bear the punishment for the father's iniquity, nor will the father bear the punishment for the son's iniquity; the righteousness of the righteous will be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon himself.

Ezekiel 18:19-20 19 “Yet you ask, ‘Why does the son not share the guilt of his father?’ Since the son has done what is just and right and has been careful to keep all my decrees, he will surely live.

20 The one who sins is the one who will die. The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them.

1 Corinthians 3:8  and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

Romans 2:6

God "will repay each person according to what they have done." Ezekiel 18:21-23

21 “But if a wicked person turns away from all his sins that he has committed and keeps all my statutes and does what is just and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. 22 None of the transgressions that he has committed shall be remembered against him; for the righteousness that he has done he shall live. 23 Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Lord God, and not rather that he should turn from his way and live?

Ezekiel 18:1-9 The One Who Sins Will Die

1 The word of the LORD came to me:

2 “What do you people mean by quoting this proverb about the land of Israel: “ ‘The parents eat sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge’?

3 “As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, you will no longer quote this proverb in Israel.

4 For everyone belongs to me, the parent as well as the child—both alike belong to me. The one who sins is the one who will die.

5 “Suppose there is a righteous man who does what is just and right.

6 He does not eat at the mountain shrines or look to the idols of Israel. He does not defile his neighbor’s wife or have sexual relations with a woman during her period.

7 He does not oppress anyone, but returns what he took in pledge for a loan. He does not commit robbery but gives his food to the hungry and provides clothing for the naked.

8 He does not lend to them at interest or take a profit from them. He withholds his hand from doing wrong and judges fairly between two parties.

9 He follows my decrees and faithfully keeps my laws. That man is righteous; he will surely live, declares the Sovereign LORD.

Almost everyone would be familiar with verse of the Bible always quoted by Christian missionaries.

"The soul that sinneth, it shall die" (Ezekiel 18:4 & 20)

These Christian missionaries do NOT to complete the verse, neither quote the very next verse, but they rather jump 500 years to quote John (self proclaimed disciple of Jesus Christ) saying.

"All have sinned." (Romans 3:23)

Then they try to prove that since every soul has sinned and that is why Jesus has to be crucified to free every soul from its sins and especially from the original sin.

I can challenge that there would hardly be any Christian, who knows the complete verses (Ezekiel 18:4 & 20).

Almost every believing Christian knows the half verse, but does NOT know the full verse.

Lets see what is so dangerous in these verses that the missionaries avoid them so skilfully.

"The soul that sinneth, it shall die. But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right" (Ezekiel 18:4-5)

So according to verse 5, the very next verse, the soul should be just and do the lawful and right things and the soul will NOT die because the word "BUT" clearly states the vice-versa of "it shall die", which means in verse 5 that after being just and doing the lawful and right the soul shall NOT die then the sinful soul should be just and do the lawful and right to avoid its death rather than crucifying Jesus for his sins.

The Bible also says; "The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him."(Ezekiel 18:20)

This verse (when quoted completely) proves that the father is NOT responsible for the sins of the son and son is NOT responsible for the sins of the father. So there is NOTHING like original sin and in the same way Jesus Christ can NOT bear the iniquity of anybody(can NOT pay for their sins).

Is this concept logical?

Would a master kill his loved one or son for the mistakes of his servants?

NO certainly NOT!

It would be illogical and God can NOT be illogical. Since God is all powerful he can simply forgive his servants if He wants without any of this.

Is it just and merciful?

Suppose, it someone raped your mother (GOD FORBID) and the rapist believes that Jesus Christ paid for his sins. So according to this logic God will forgive him and NOT hold him accountable for this rape. Would it be just on the part of God? Certainly NOT and God can NOT be unjust.

The concept of salvation through the cross even goes against the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Because Jesus Christ NEVER told anybody to believe that he paid for their sins NOT even after his SO-CALLED resurrection.

Jesus Christ in fact taught the exact opposite of this Consider the following incident mentioned in the Bible:

"And behold, one came and said unto him, ‘Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?’ And he said unto him, ‘Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.’ " [The Bible, Mathew 19:16-17]

Jesus Christ also said in the Bible:

"Think not that I have come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I have not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." [Matthew 5:17-18]

So according to Jesus Christ in order to attain salvation one should keep the commandment and the first and most important commandment that one should at least follow to attain salvation is mentioned by mentioned by both Moses in Deuteronomy 6:4 and Jesus Christ in the Gospel of Mark 12:29.

"Shama Israelu Adonai Ila Hayno Adonai Ikhad."

This is a Hebrew quotation, which means: "Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord."

.

Did Jesus die for our sins?

The most common belief among Christians is the belief that Jesus died for our sins, but the question is: Do we have a solid account that proves this?

Who said that Jesus died for our sins?

Actually when we look at the verses Christians use to prove this belief, we find that 95% of these verses are from Paul’s epistles, and the verses used to prove this belief from the Gospels are very few, which puts a question mark on its source and whether Jesus really told that he would die on the cross for our sins.

As I illustrated in my post :”Concept of salvation between Islam and Christianity “we as Muslims don’t need to believe that God needs to be a man or to be crucified for our sins, because God is mightier than that, we actually believe that this is a blasphemy and an insult against God. For sin to be forgiven by God, mans should repent faithfully to God, and acknowledge his sins, and God is the All Forgiver and All Merciful who will forgive him if He really knew he is really intending to repent and stop the sin:

110. And whoever does a wrong or wrongs himself but then seeks forgiveness of Allāh will find Allāh Forgiving and Merciful. ( Holy Quran 4:110)

Doesn’t God forgive sins without Jesus dying?

No need for all that so that God forgives my sins, and this is what is also said by the Old Testament:

Eze 18:21 ″But if a wicked person turns away from all his sins that he has committed and keeps all my statutes and does what is just and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die".

Eze 18:22 "None of the transgressions that he has committed shall be remembered against him; for the righteousness that he has done he shall live".

Jesus (Peace be upon him) wasn’t clear in clarifying his supposed main message, something like this must have been very clear so that no one doubts, but even according to the Gospels, it seems that Jesus didn’t know about it, look at what he said:

Joh 17:4 I glorified thee on the earth, having accomplished the work which thou hast given me to do.

If this was really the reason why he came, would have he been that sad and sorrowful? Why would he keep on prayer and asks God to take that cup away from him? If Jesus was supposed to be waiting for that moment, why would he ask God to get it away?

Finally look at what he said on the cross:

Mat 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Jesus accuses God that he left him, as if Jesus was surprised by this or that God betrayed him, is that logical? Doesn’t he know why he is there? Some might argue that this refers to Psalm 22, which Christians might argue that it foretells about the event on the cross. If this was the case, why didn’t Jesus refer to other verses that are strongly used by Christians either in this Psalm or in other verses like in Isaiah 53? This verse actually proves that Jesus didn’t know about the plan of salvation except that God has forsaken him.

This was before crucifixion, Jesus tells that he accomplished the work God gave to him. This work is to tell people about God, as all prophets did. If he really knew that he came to die for our sins and the plan of salvation Christians talk about it, he won’t have said that he accomplished the work God gave him to do.

If Jesus must die for our sins to be forgiven, why did he forgive the adulterer without dying for her?

Not only that, but when Jesus was asked about the way to eternal life:

Mat 19:16 And behold, one came to him and said, Teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

Mat 19:17 And he said unto him, Why askest thou me concerning that which is good? One there is who is good: but if thou wouldest enter into life, keep the commandments.

Jesus’ answer was simply to keep the commandments which are the same commandments of the Old Testament, nothing new.

What about Jesus’ action before being crossed?

Mat 26:38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: abide ye here, and watch with me.

Mat 26:39 And he went forward a little, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass away from me: nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt.

.

Muslims believe that Jesus was not crucified. It was the plan of Jesus’ enemies to crucify him, but God saved him and raised him up to Him. And the likeness of Jesus was put over another man. Jesus’ enemies took this man and crucified him, thinking that he was Jesus.

God (Allah) has said:{And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah ." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise.} Quran (4:157,158)

Allah (which means God) is who made it appear to jesus peace be upon him enemies a resemblance of jesus peace be upon him; because they wanted to kill prophet jesus peace be upon him and they did not kill him for certain because Allah has saved him. & for this is the verse for Quran 3:54 {And the disbelievers planned, but Allah planned. And Allah is the best of planners.}

Neither Muhammad nor Jesus came to change the basic doctrine of the belief in one God, brought by earlier prophets, but rather to confirm and renew it.

Also please take the time to watch this video :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAG93VL8vcY

So, before proceeding with our study, let us not disagree and let us not be in doubt any more. But let us fully believe in what Allah, The Exalted, says, so that we may be correctly guided.

Allah says to Muhammad (pbuh), about Qur'an: “And We sent down the Book to you for the express purpose, that you should make clear to them those things in which they differ, and that it should be a guide and a mercy to those who believe.” (Qur'an 16:64)

Allah has said three things about the alleged crucifixion of Jesus:

1. They didn't kill him.

2. They didn't crucify him.

3. but [another] was made to resemble him to them..

Christians may ask now, then what is the real way of attaining salvation in Christianity?

I would let Jesus(pbuh) himself answer this question for you.

"And behold, one came and said unto him, ‘Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, ‘Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.[The Bible, Mathew 19:16-17]

One of the scribes once asked Jesus (pbuh) as to which was the first commandment of all, to which Jesus (pbuh) merely repeated what Moses (pbuh) had said earlier:

"Shama Israelu Adonai Ila Hayno Adonai Ikhad."

This is a Hebrew quotation, which means:

"Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord."[The Bible, Mark 12:29]

Allah assures that Jesus will be saved from the Jews and that his term and what is destined for him is guaranteed for him and that Allah will cause Jesus to ascend unto Him.

The Bible agrees that Jesus ascended unto heaven (Luke 24:51), but the main dispute is about what happened in between: the alleged crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus (pbuh).

Allah says in Qur'an that they neither killed him nor crucified him,but [another] was made to resemble him to them..

In many places in Qur'an, it has been mentioned that Jews used to kill the prophets unjustly. But in the case of Jesus (pbuh) it vehemently denies that they killed him or that they crucified him.Because the Quran told us the truth about Jesus peace be upon him,Because people were in doubt about the crucifixion and killing, According to complement the message of Jesus and a statement of everything. This is because Qur'an will not contain anything except truth.

From the sayings of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), we get a more detailed account. The Muslim belief is that Allah changed the face of the person who betrayed Jesus, showing to the rulers the place where he was hiding, into a face resembling Jesus. So, they crucified that betrayer instead of Jesus.

Let us now do a deeper study of the above verses of Qur'an, so that we may be rightly guided into the truth.

Allah says in Qur'an not only that Jesus was not killed, but also that he was not crucified, either. Those who do not accept the truth or those who accept only a part of the truth will never get at the truth.

As a result,

1. those who wish to prove that Jesus was crucified, but did not die at the cross; and

2. those who believe that Jesus was crucified and killed at the cross, have equally failed to convince and provide clear-cut answers to the many points that beg a solution.

Allah has said: “......And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. Quran (4:157)

.

Luke 22:36 He said to them, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.

Why did he tell his disciples to buy swords at that time?  He said ‘if you don’t have the sword, sell your cloak and buy one’. What was the need for sword at that time? Was it not for protection from disbelievers if they try to catch him for killing?

The scene in the Garden says so. Prayer of Jesus in the garden, and ordering his disciples to buy swords supports that Jesus and his disciples wanted to protect themselves. The disciples were already armed. They had not left Galilee with bare knuckles. They responded:

“. . . Lord, behold, here are two SWORDS.” And he said unto them, “It is enough”. (Luke 22:38)

Hebrews 5:7-8 confirm Islam's claim about Jesus never got crucified and contradicts the Bible! In Hebrews 5:7, we clearly see that GOD Almighty had heard Jesus' cries to save him from death.

Hebrews 5:7 During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.

2-  In the book of Psalm 91, we see the same reference with the exception that in Psalm (91:10-15), we read that GOD Almighty will not let the crucifixion to happen, and that the Angels will protect the Messiah from all harm and lift him up.

Psalm 91:10-15

10 no evil shall befall you,

no scourge come near your tent.

11 For he will give his angels charge of you

to guard you in all your ways.

12 On their hands they will bear you up,

lest you dash your foot against a stone.

13 You will tread on the lion and the adder,

the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.

14 Because he cleaves to me in love, I will deliver him;

I will protect him, because he knows my name.

15 When he calls to me, I will answer him;

I will be with him in trouble,

I will rescue him and honor him.

Especially in Psalm 91:11-12,15 and others, clearly and indisputably agree with the Noble Quran and (Isaiah 52:13!) ["See, my servant will act wisely he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted".] Jesus was neither crucified nor resurrected, and he was protected and lifted by GOD Almighty.

Also, the New Testament, again, confirms that Psalm 91 is referring to Jesus Christ.

GOD Almighty will hear his cries (Psalm 91:15)["15 When he calls to me, I will answer him."].

And will save him (Psalm 91:3)[3 Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence".]

GOD Almighty will cover him with His Protection [(Psalm 91:4)(Psalm 91:5)].[4 "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge;his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. 5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day."]

Christ will then observe with his own eyes the punishment of the crucified ones (Psalm 91:8).["You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked".]

No harm (this includes crucifixion!) or disaster will even come near Christ ....this even contradicts him getting beaten up before crucifixion).(Psalm 91:10)["no evil shall befall you,no scourge come near your tent.

GOD Almighty will send down the Angels to protect him and lift him (Psalm 91:11-12, 14, Isaiah 52:13). Not even his foot will strike the ground from his enemies pushing, grappling and punishment.

Christ's call will be HEARD, and he will bedelivered and honored (Psalm 91:15, Isaiah 52:13). No way would these verses be valid if Christ got crucified.

.

THE SO CALLED SIN INHERITED? Funny and a non sense.

The soule which sinneth shall perish but read the whole verse my dear, it continues and says The son will not bear the iniquity of the father nor the father will bear the iniquity of the son, the righteousness of the righteous will be given to him and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. But if the wicked turns and repents he shall must not die, he shall live".

So proves from your bible that sin is Of ADAM AND EVE is not inherited. and there is no need of Blood …. any kind of blood nor even the blood of any animal for humanity. and how dare you think of this holy and precious blood of the righteous Prophet Jesus to be shed for us the sinners? what a foolish thought is this. God Forbid God Forbid……..JESUS (PBUH) is alive very near to the God in the heaven.. How can we sinners the men of this earth think of his Blood …… God Forbid…..

Just as Islam categorically denies that Jesus was God, it also rejects the notion that mankind is born tainted by any form of original sin. The Quran tells us that it is not possible for one person to bear the sins of another and that we are all responsible, before God, for our own actions.

Allah says: “And no bearer of burdens shall bear another’s burden.” (Quran 35:18)

If Jesus must die for our sins to be forgiven, why did he forgive the adulterer without dying for her?????

When Abraham was told by God to sacrifice his son, his son did not object or question him, if Jesus was sent to be sacrificed for our sins, why would he question God?

(Matthew 27:46): "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"!!!!!!!

2 Kings 146 "Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents each will die for their

own sin. Everyone will die for their sin if they do not repent and come to God.

The same verse in the Quran Allah says: "No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another". Quran(6:164)

Jesus(PBUH) was not die on the Cross according to the Bible in Gospel of Luke 24:37

But they were full of fear, being of the opinion that they were seeing a spirit.

24:38 And he said to them, Why are you troubled, and why are your hearts full of doubt?

24:39 See; my hands and my feet: it is I myself; put your hands on me and make certain; for a spirit has not flesh and bones as you see that I have.

24:40 And when he had said this, he let them see his hands and his feet.

24:41 And because, for joy and wonder, they were still in doubt, he said to them, Have you any food here?

24:42 And they gave him a bit of cooked fish.

24:43 And before their eyes he took a meal.

.

Jesus: what do you teach?

"I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices. ' For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners." -Matthew 9:13

"I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.'' Luke 5:32

Disciples: what did Jesus teach?

"Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away." -Acts 3: 19

Paul (Fake apostle): what did Jesus teach?

"Christ died for our sins" -1corinthians 15-3

Who is the LIAR?!

If There is a man Who did a crime and kill a lot of people and steal a lot of things. Then we take an innocent man and kill him in the cross to forgive the criminal man!!!!! Is that Justice?!!

Punishing Jesus for a crime he didn't do is not just at all, weather he was willing to do it or not.

No one should carry the pardon of another because its not just.

If i committed a crime and the judge punish you for it, is that just to you.

i know you believe that god has to use a sacrifice for the our sin. but before he created us he knew we will sin, so he can chose a different way of salvation because he is God and he can do anything, so why he decided to make the Idea of creating a human which will result in killing of his only son? He Could of have 2 options instead if that 1-make another way of salvation OR

2- at least create another creation who will not sin ( so he can save his son)

jesus did not die for your sins. And that was never a plan for God to reincarnate into a human to kill himself so he can forgive you from his own punishment. Ezekiel 18:20 ""The person who sins will die. The son will not bear the punishment for the father's iniquity, nor will the father bear the punishment for the son's iniquity; the righteousness of the righteous will be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon himself."

You making god to be unjust But God is Greatest and Having All power He is Justice and All Wisdom. Not like humans who make mistakes, right?!.

So how it's that be Possible. Because God is Justice not making mistakes like humans.

So basically there is no logical reason behind that.. Thats why its not logical to think that Allah (glorified is He) killed his son for our sins.. This is the only different between us and you we go together through all the but you guys then claim he kill his son to save us.. And we say no god don't do that because that does not go right with his attribute and its not logical at all

Allah is merciful to all his slaves, thats why a person can disrespect god and do all evil things in his life but if he ever consider to return to god with sincere repentance, god will forgive him this easy for all the sins that he committed and also he will replace the sins with good deeds. Thats how you know its a merciful god, but when you say you don't see the killing of an innocent man for the crime of others as evil and unjust, then i have to remind you that when Hitler was killing the jews he didn't think that he was doing evil, so what you think and reality is two different things, you think its not evil to do unjust but in reality its very evil.

when god created us he knew that sinning is a nature in us so when he created us he didn't expect us not to sin at all but he want to see who is pure enough to admit his suns and seek his forgiveness, but from your way it sounds like God got disrespected when we sin and he didn't expect it from us from the first place, so he have to do something to end our sins! And if thats the case then you should also keep in mind that he knew that all this would happen before he created us but he still continue this to create us and punish an innocent man. So basically god was planing to punish an innocent man from the beginning since he knew the future. Which is an evil thing?

God is one not three (trinity) God does not do ungodly things, if someone does not have the attribute of god then he is not god, because simply : The father (Allah) is God because of his attribute.

Look, lets see together if this islamic law matches gods attribute or the new testament law does. Lets take these attribute of god and lets see together which law is right ( God is ;: Loving, Just, Powerful, kind ) now in the Islamic law Allah said: "Oh son of Adam, if your sins would reach the sky, and then you came to me (seeking forgiveness) not worshipping anyone beside me, i would forgive all your sins" this match every single one of God attribute, he is powerful he can do anything without anyones help, and he chose this way because its just and he is kind and loving because he would forgive very easliy without punishing anyone for it. Lets see the church version: Allah (glorified is He from this) He have to kill himself or his son to forgive our sins. This shows that the attribute Kind, Loving and Just, does not match.

God in this law, because even thou god knew that we will sin before he created us and he knew that he will have to kill his son, but he still does it so that shows that he is not kind and loving to Jesus, and also , he punished an innocent man and that shows that he is not just either. Now if you gunna say there was no other choice for god then that also shows that god is not all powerful and he is forced to do things.

Why would god chose to punish jesus his only son when there millions of ways to do it? That also shows that god is not loving and kind to jesus.. His only son.
