Jesus (pbuh) prays to his Father "God"

The truth in their book itself, but "only those can accept the truth who listen"

Christians say that Jesus when he was praying he was praying to teach us how to pray.

But here we find that he was praying alone. Jesus prays to WHO?

-Answer: His Father "God"

Luke 6:12 One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God.

Luke 5:16 But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.

Luke 9:19: Jesus was praying alone, with his disciples in the vicinity.

Luke 22:41-43: Jesus withdrew from his disciples "about a stone's throw" to pray by himself.

If Jesus was God, and then who was he praying to? Does God pray to himself? This does not make sense praying to Himself, wasting time to pray to himself.

Jesus (peace be upon him) himself prayed to God in the humblest of fashion by prostrating and placing his forehead to the ground. Please take the time to think about that? Would God pray to himself?

(Remember that he was praying alone)

.

Jesus and all of the Prophets before him prayed the same as Muslims pray today.

When a Muslim prays or thanks God he does so in the same fashion and from that was taught to Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and all of the previous Prophets of God (may peace be upon them all). You will find that when a Muslim prays he places his forehead on the ground in total submission to God Almighty.

Let us see how the Prophets (including Jesus) prayed according to the Qur'an and Bible:

Say (Prophet Muhammad): "it is revealed to me that your god is one god, do you then surrender? Quran (21:108)

Zephaniah 3:9

For then I will give to the peoples purified lips, That all of them may call on the name of the LORD, To serve Him shoulder to shoulder.

Muslim prayer in the Bible are the true worshipers of God

"These are some of the Prophets whom GOD blessed. They were chosen from among the descendants of Adam, and the descendants of those whom we carried with Noah, and the descendants of Abraham and Israel, and from among those whom we guided and selected. When the revelations of the Most Gracious are recited to them, they fall prostrate, weeping." – Qur’an English Translation [19:58] .

"And he (Jesus) went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt." - New Testament (Matthew 26:39)

"And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid." - New Testament (Matthew 17:6)

"And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying," - Old Testament (Tanakh) (Genesis 17:3) "Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?" - Old Testament (Tanakh) (Genesis 17:17)

"And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped." - Old Testament (Tanakh) (Exodus 34:8)

“And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto them.” - Old Testament (Tanakh) (Numbers 20:6)

look how Muslims pray to God, and then read the verses from Bible how was prayers of Jesus and Abraham and Moses !!! , Then compare their prayers with the Christians prayers !! In all your life did you seen any Christian falls on his face for God as Jesus did?? ..

The teaching of Jesus is not something new; it’s a kind of transition from the earlier teachings beginning with Abraham. If we take prayer for example, how the previous prophets pray to God, we will witness a clear consistency in their message. The bible tells us: quote:

jesus  l39 ( he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, ) Matthew 39;26

jesus (And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.) Mark 35;14

Abraham ( And Abram fell on his face:) Genesis 17:3 .

moses ( When Moses heard what they were saying, he fell face down on the ground.) Numbers 16; 4 .

And that is excatly how Muhammad SAW prayed and the whole muslim world prays like that. The christians don’t pray like that though. They have their own kind of worship.Who is really tryin to imitate Jesus? Christians or muslims? Infact even his diet isnt christian, Jesus’ diet is islamic as he didn’t eat pig he kills over 2000 pigs says the bible. For we believe that Jesus was a muslim; and his message is islam."

.

Jesus, made it clear that the father is the only true God and that God is not only his father, but father of all, and God of all, and even his own God whom he worshipped and called other people to worship.

He said:

John 20:17 ► “I am ascending to my Father and your Father,to my God and your God.”

If Jesus was God, he would have clearly told people to worship him, and there would be clear verses in the Bible stating this; yet he did the opposite and disapproved anyone worshipping him:

“And in vain they worship me.” (Matthew 15:9)

Luke 4:8 "And Jesus answered him, “It is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.’”

John 17:1-3 ► 1After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed:

“Father.......... 3Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

Here Jesus is saying that the Father is the only true God. Jesus is not God and Amen to that.

Jesus never instructed his disciples to worship him

‘When you pray, say Our Father which art in heaven.’ (Luke 11:2)

‘In that day, you shall ask me nothing.  Whatsoever you ask of the Father in my name.’ (John 16:23)

John 8:42 ► Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me.

John 4:23 ► Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

Matthew 23:9 ► “Do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven.

Matthew 6:9 ► “This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name..’ ”

John 14:28 ► Jesus said that he is not Equal to “The Father”

“The Father is greater than I”

If Jesus was God, he would have sought worship for himself

Since he didn’t.

Matthew 15:9 "But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."

instead he sought worship for God in the heavens, therefore, he was not God.
