Every prophet in his time is the way to God

 The truth in their book itself, but "only those can accept the truth who listen"

Common verses used as proofs to the divinity of Jesus (PBUH)

"I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me." [John 14:1-6]

1. Gospel of John Chapter 14 verses [1–6]

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

In order to understand the verse better we should read the context i.e. Gospel of John chapter 14 verse 1 to 6

"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.’ Thomas saith unto him, ‘Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?’ Jesus saith unto him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me.’" [John 14:1-6]

2. Every prophet in his time is the way to God. Jesus (pbuh) being a prophet of God rightly said that he was the way to God. Every Prophet of God, is the truth and the way to God.

Moses during his time and for his nation was the way, the truth and life and no man could come to God but through Moses.

Every prophet of God in his time is the ultimate path and guidance to God. Today the last and final messenger of God is prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the way, the truth and the life; no man comes unto God but through his teachings.

All prophets were the way to God, not just one.

I advise the reader to refer to John 14:1-21 for a complete picture about the meaning of this verse. As a prophet sent from God, Jesus (peace be upon him) is telling us if you need to know God, you must come to me and I will tell you the truth about God; he is the way, meaning the messenger of God who will teach you the truth about all aspects of God pleasing life.

So when Jesus (peace be upon him) says that he is the truth that does not mean that he is God, our creator.

DURING THAT TIME OF MOSES, HE IS THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIGHT.

DURING THAT TIME OF JESUS, HE IS THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIGHT.

NOW, PROPHET MUHAMMAD IS THE FINAL MESSENGER THE TRUTH THE WAY AND THE LIGHT FOR ALL MANKIND PEACE UPON THEM ALL.

Common verses used as proofs to the divinity of Jesus (PBUH)

John 14:6 says Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Him (Jesus Christ).

On the time of every Prophet(PBUH) that prophet was the only way to God. At the time of Moses (PBUH) Moses was the only way to God, On the Time of Prophet Jesus 'The Christ" (PBUH)  was the only way to the God and After the Last and Final Prophet Muhammad (May peace and Blessings of God be with Him) is the only way to God.

SO HOW COME YOU ONLY TAKE JESUS AS SUPREME OVER THE OTHER PROPHETS WHILE HE SAID IN THE BIBLE DO NOT THINK I HAVE COME TO DESTROY THE LAWS OF THE PROPHETS I AM NOT HERE TO DESTROY BUT TO FULFIL THEM. ALSO ALL THE MESSAGE OF THE PROPHETS WAS GOD IS ONE AND MUHAMMAD pbuh ALSO SAID GOD IS ONE WHY DON'T YOU FOLLOW ISLAM.

Why did Jesus Christ(PBUH) come, only because the religion and its norms and teachings had been corrupted by the scribes and the Rabbi's of the jews and due to their corruptions they had lost thier power and they were being ruled by the Romans(the Polytheists) so God sent 

Prophet Jesus Christ(PBUH) to elevate the nation and to re conciliate the teachings of the religion upto the standards and needs of the time and to abolish the rigid man made teachings and rites added by the scribes and Rabbi's of that time. And so at that time He was the way Back to the God.

But After Jesus (PBUH) people again corrupted the religion by ascribing the God with a lower animal fuction of sex and started saying that GOD had begotten a Son named Jesus.

So Allah sent his Last 

and Final Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) The same Comforter foretold by jesus Himself, to Become the Last and only Way to God.

 "I am the Way"

Christians interpret the following verse to mean that Jesus is God and that no one shall enter into heaven except if they worship Jesus.

-[John 14:6] - "... I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me".

This is not the case, as the full context of this statement is given just a few verses earlier: [John 14:2] - "In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you".

He said that in God's mansion there are "many" rooms. Jesus was sent to guide to only one of them. The countless other rooms were reserved for other tribes and nations if they would obey their messengers. However, Jesus was telling his followers that they need not worry themselves about the other rooms. Anyone from among his people who wished to enter into the room which was reserved for them could only do so if they followed Jesus and obeyed his command. So Jesus confirmed that he was going to prepare "a" mansion and not "all" the mansions in "my Father's house". Further, the verse clearly states that Jesus was the "WAY" to a mansion. He did not say that he is the "DESTINATION" which would be the case if he were God. This is indeed confirmed in John 10:9 where Jesus tells us that he is "the door" to "the pasture."

Common verses used as proofs to the divinity of Jesus (PBUH)

Christians use this verse to attribute divinity to Jesus John (14:6) "I am the way, the truth, and the life no one comes unto the Father, but by me"

This verse doesn't confirm the divinity of Jesus. In fact it confirms he was just a prophet of God. We Muslims believe that verse as he was the way to his people to God like every other prophet to his nation.

Jesus mentioned "who sent me '34 times in the 4 gospels, and there is nothing else that distinct him from been a prophet.

Of course he is the way, and no one will get to the father if they don't follow Jesus teachings, and NOT the teachings of Paul.

furthermore every prophet thought the same, follow me, l am the way etc and Jesus like any prophet were just the way to God.

Prophet Muhammad peace upon him is no different, Allah say to him in the Quran : Say, [O Muhammad], “If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.” Quran (3:31)

But we Muslims don't worship Prophet Muhammad peace upon him, or say he is part of God or son of God, we follow his commandments.
