Do Muslims love and believe in Jesus (PBUH)? And what Position of Jesus (pbuh) in Islam?

Muslims love Jesus. We also love Abraham, Moses, and Noah, to name just a few other Prophets Muslims revere. May God's peace be upon all of these great messengers of God.

I'm a Muslim and i love jesus and all Muslims in this world love him because he's Prophet And mentioned in the Quran As a muslim, I love Jesus and Mary. I love them so much , so they are also prophets if we see in Quran we will see name of Jesus more than Muhammad( peace be upon them ) and also, if you ask every Muslim. do you love Jesus? they say ,yes .we love him so much. about Miriam (peace be upon her ) we love her also so much. it is Islam religion . have you seen till now the Muslim uses bad word beside Jesus and Miriam, no you never heard it.

Jesus in the Quran holds one of the highest statures amongst the Prophets. Unlike other Prophets who performed miracles, Jesus himself was a miracle, as he was born of a virgin mother, and God describes him and his mother Mary as such: ["…and We made her (Mary) and her son (Jesus) a sign for the worlds."] (Quran 21:91)

Nonetheless, in the Quran, Jesus is described as having many miracles not bestowed upon other prophets.  God says: "And We gave unto Jesus, son of Mary, clear miracles" (Quran 2:87)

The Qur’an tells us a lot of wonderful things about Jesus. As a result, believers in the Qur’an love Jesus, honor him, and believe in him. In fact, no Muslim can be a Muslim unless he or she believes in Jesus, on whom be peace. The Qur’an says that Jesus was born of a virgin, that he spoke while he was still only a baby, that he healed the blind and the leper by God’s leave, and that he raised the dead by God’s leave.

Muslims believe that Jesus was born immaculately, and through the same power which had brought Eve to life and Adam into being without a father or a mother. "Truly, the likeness of Jesus with God is as the likeness of Adam. He created him of dust, and then said to him, 'Be!' and he was." [3:59]

(I) Position of Jesus (pbuh) in Islam:

(i)Islam is the only non-Christian faith, which makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus (pbuh).

No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus (pbuh).

(ii) We believe that he was one of the mightiest Messengers of Allah (swt).

(iii) We believe that he was born miraculously, without any male intervention, which many modern day Christians do not believe.

(iv) We believe he was the Messiah translated Christ (pbuh).

Allah says in the Quran: Behold! the angels said: “O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ (Messiah) Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah." Quran (3:45).

The quote from the Quran was saying that Jesus is the Christ.

(v) We believe that he gave life to the dead with God’s permission.

(iv) We believe that he healed those born blind, and the lepers with God’s permission.

Islam is the same message given to all the prophets, from Adam, Noah, Moses, Abraham, Jesus, and finally to the Prophet Muhammad, the last messenger (peace and blessings be upon them).

They all brought the same message:

worship only God, and stop worshipping human beings and their ideas. Let us believe in one God. Islam honors all the prophets who were sent to mankind. Muslims respect all prophets in general, but Jesus in particular, because he was one of the prophets who foretold the coming of Muhammad. Muslims, too, await the second coming of Jesus. They consider him one of the greatest of Allah's prophets to mankind. A Muslim does not refer to him simply as "Jesus," but normally adds the phrase "peace be upon him" as a sign of respect.
