Is Prophet Muhammad prophesied in the Bible

Jesus Christ did indicate what the Paraclete to come will do in his time. Did prophet Muhammad do those things? Let's examine;

1) He will guide you into all the truth.

2) He will speak what he hears from God.

3) He will glorify Jesus.

4) For he will take what is mine and declare it to you.

5) He will declare to you the things that are to come.

These characteristics are applicable only to Prophet Muhammad, as the

following brief remarks show:

(1)

When we look at Islam as a world religion, and see that 1.6 billion people and growing are following in the way of Muhammad, the time has surely come to recognize him as a prophet. If Muhammad is not a prophet, who is?

(2)

The Qur’an was revealed to Prophet Muhammad through the angel Gabriel. When the angel finished reciting the Qur’an, Prophet Muhammad used to convey verbatim to his companions what he heard from the angel without adding, changing or forgetting anything.

The Qur'an also describes Prophet Muhammad saying “He does not speak out of his own fancy. He utters what is revealed to him". (53:4,5).

If we compare this with, "He will not speak on his own authority",we see the striking similarity between the characteristics of the counselor and those of Prophet Muhammad.

(3)

No other prophet glorified Jesus as much as Prophet Muhammad did. The Jews called him an impostor and accused his mother of immorality. They tried to crucify him. Prophet Muhammad considered Jesus as great Prophet and the “Word of God". The Quran glorifies the birth of Jesus through Virgin Mary. The Quran also confirms, Jesus was a Messiah; and the Righteous Prophet. The Qur'an attributed to him miracles that are not mentioned in the Bible. Mary is considered the most chaste woman and the best of all women in paradise. Thus did Muhammad really glorify Jesus. The Prophet Mohammad spoke of Jesus many times, once describing him as his brother. Based on the promises of Jesus, Christians can encounter the Qur’an without fear, knowing that it is a revelation which glorifies Jesus.

(4)

Note: Muhammad did declare himself a Messenger of God like Abraham, Moses and Jesus.

The Verses in the Quran That Mention Future Events Which Later Came to Pass

One example of the events foretold in the Quran is the victory of the Romans over the Persians within three to nine years after the Romans were defeated by the Persians. God has said in the Quran:

The Romans have been defeated in the nearest land (to the Arabian Peninsula), and they, after their defeat, will be victorious withinbedd’ (three to nine) years.... (Quran, 30:2-4)

Let us see what history tells us about these wars. A book entitled History of the Byzantine State says that the Roman army was badly defeated at Antioch in 613, and as a result, the Persians swiftly pushed forward on all fronts.1  At that time, it was hard to imagine that the Romans would defeat the Persians, but the Quran foretold that the Romans would be victorious within three to nine years.  In 622, nine years after the Romans’ defeat, the two forces (Romans and Persians) met on Armenian soil, and the result was the decisive victory of the Romans over the Persians, for the first time after the Romans’ defeat in 613.2  The prophecy was fulfilled just as God has said in the Quran.

There are also many other verses in the Quran and sayings of the Prophet Muhammad  that mention future events which later came to pass.

Now we leave it up to you to read and analyze these and the other prophecies in our post Prophet Muhammad in the Bibleand decide for yourself whether Muhammad is a prophet of God or not. You do not need to tell us or anyone else out there what you decided, just be honest to yourself and ask God Almighty to guide you to the truth no matter whatever it maybe. You can also get your free copy of the Holy Qur'an revealed to Muhammad (pbuh) and analyze it yourself.

As Jesus said, “You shall know the truth, and the truth  shall make you free” (John 8:32).

Jesus spoke about Mohammed:

John 16:12-15 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.

The Sprit of Truth, spoken about in this prophecy referes to none other than Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

More over if read your bible carefully you come to know another criteria in 1st epistle of john (4:1) says the soul meaning the prophet that confesseth that Jesus (PBUH) is the Christ of God (is the true Prophet)

And Muhammad (PBUH) confessed that Jesus is the Christ.

and in John 16 Jesus (PBUH) again says about Spirit of truth, that is indeed Muhammad ( PBUH ). Because Muhammad is the comforter, Muhammad (PBUH) is the spirit of truth who confessed that Jesus is the Christ.

We believe he was the Messiah translated Christ (pbuh).

Allah says in the Quran: Behold! the angels said: “O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ (Messiah) Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah." Quran (3:45).

The quote from the Quran was saying that Jesus is the Christ.

Muhammad is that True prophet who told the very "Many Things" unto us who Jesus wantes to say but could not say because people of His time were not mentally and spirtually able to bear those things,Muhammad is that spirit of truth who came, and who guided the mankind of all the truth.

When we look at Islam as a world religion, and see that 1.7 billion people and growing are following in the way of Muhammad, the time has surely come to recognize him as a prophet. If Muhammad is not a prophet, who is?

Who did not speak from Himself but only which He heard from the God who declared all the things to come, and who Glorified Jesus (PBUH). He is the Natural successor to the christ.

.

The Biblical prophecies on the advent of the Prophet Muhammad are evidence of the truth of Islam for people who believe in the Bible.

In Deuteronomy 18, Moses stated that God told him:

“I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him.  If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.” (Deuteronomy 18:18-19).

From these verses we conclude that the prophet in this prophecy must have the following three characteristics:

1) That he will be like Moses.

2) That he will come from the brothers of the Israelites, i.e. the Ishmaelites.

3) That God will put His words in to the mouth of this prophet and that he will declare what God commands him.

4) My words that the prophet speaks in my name.

Let us examine these three characteristics in more depth:

The Christians say that this prophecy refers to Jesus (pbuh) because Jesus was like Moses (pbuh). Moses was a Jew, as well as Jesus (pbuh) was a Jew. Moses (pbuh) was a Prophet and Jesus (pbuh) was also a Prophet.

If these two are the only criteria for this prophecy to be fulfilled, then all the Prophets of the Bible who came after Moses (pbuh) such as Solomon, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Malachi, John the Baptist, etc. (pbut) will fulfill this prophecy since all were Jews as well as prophets.

However, it is Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) who is like Moses (pbuh):

(1)

Both had a father and a mother, while Jesus (pbuh) was born miraculously without any male intervention.

Both were married and had children. Jesus (pbuh) according to the Bible did not marry nor had children.

Both died natural deaths. Jesus (pbuh) has been raised up alive. (4:157-158)

Both besides being Prophets were also kings i.e. they could inflict capital punishment. Jesus (pbuh) said, “My kingdom is not of this world.” (John 18:36). Both were accepted as Prophets by their people in their lifetime but Jesus (pbuh) was rejected by his people. John chapter 1 verse 11 states, “He came unto his own, but his own received him not.”

Both brought new laws and new regulations for their people. Jesus (pbuh) according to the Bible did not bring any new laws. (Mathew 5:17-18).

We can conclude from above that it could not have been a Prophet from the Jews, as the only prophet that came was Jesus(pbuh) and when we compare him to the descendant of Ishmael who is Muhammad(pbuh), we find that the latter has far more similarities to Moses(pbuh). Thus the prophesised Prophet is Muhammad(pbuh).

(2)

Abraham had two sons, Ishmael and Isaac(Genesis 21). Ishmael became the grandfather of the Arab nation, and Isaac became the grandfather of the Jewish nation.  The prophet spoken of was not to come from among the Jews themselves, but from among their brothers, i.e. the Ishmaelites. Muhammad , a descendant of Ishmael, is indeed this prophet.

(3)

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was unlettered and whatever revelations he received from Almighty God he repeated them verbatim. "I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him."

 (4)

Also, this prophecy in Deuteronomy mentioned that this prophet will speak the words of God in the name of God.  If we looked to the Holy Quran, we will find that all its chapters, except Chapter 9, are preceded or begin with the phrase, “In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.”

Note that God has said in the prophecy of Deuteronomy 18:

“If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account". (Deuteronomy,18:19).

This means that whoever believes in the Bible must believe in what this prophet says, and this prophet is the Prophet Muhammad.

If we look in a Bible with cross-references, we will find in the marginal notes where the words “the Prophet” occur in John 1:21, that these words refer to the prophecy of

Deuteronomy 18:15 and 18:18.2  We conclude from this that Jesus Christ is not the prophet mentioned in Deuteronomy 18:18.

Now we leave it up to you to read and analyze these and the other prophecies in our post Prophet Muhammad in the Bible and decide for yourself whether Muhammad is a prophet of God or not.

Please please please Read your scriptures with open eyes man and first of all kill all the prejudices of your heart and pray from Your God to guide you, because He is the only being who can guide His Creature.

I suggest you to Pray to God for Straight path with all your heart and He will surely guide you.

.

Another verse which Christians bring up is:

"Now the Spirit explicitly says that in the later times some will desert the faith and occupy themselves with deceiving spirits and demonic teachings, influenced by the hypocrisy of liars whose consciences are seared. They will prohibit marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanks giving by those who believe and know the truth." 1 Timothy 4:1-3

The prophet Muhammad certainly does not fit the criteria of these verses. If anything it is Paul who fits the criteria! Note the passages says that the false prophet will prohibit marriage, the one who prohibited marriage was Paul:

1 Corinthians 7:1

"Now for the matters you wrote about: It is good for a man not to marry.

So as we see, it is Paul who fits the description.

So anyway, when we read the passage in context we see that the verses cannot refer to Muhammad, Muhammad did not prohibit marriage, Muhammad

did not really prohibit foods. All fish were madehalal, so were camels. He forbade the eating of donkey.

Now a Christian may argue that they believe Muhammad’s teaching is demonic, however that doesn’t work neither, the reason that doesn’t work is because according to these verses, the demonic teaching is prohibiting marriage and certain foods!

So again the prophet Muhammad does not fit this description neither.

It is thus clear that Muhammad (pbuh) can NOT be the false Prophet.

I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, and that Muhammad is his messenger. AMEEN.

.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is mentioned by name in the Song of Solomon chapter 5 verse 16:

"Hikko Mamittakim we kullo Muhammadim Zehdoodeh wa Zehraee Bayna Jerusalem."

"His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem."

In the Hebrew language im is added for respect. Similarely im is added after the name of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to make it Muhammadim.

In English translation they have even translated the name of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as "altogether lovely", but in the Old Testament in Hebrew, the name of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is yet present.

All the prophecies mentioned in the Old Testament regarding Muhammad (pbuh) besides applying to the Jews also hold good for the Christians.

According to Ben Yehuda's Hebrew-English Dictionary, it is correctly pronounced as "Mahammad".

If you don't believe me, go to these translator links, paste the name מחמד and then translate it into English. You will see that מחמד is translated as "Muhammad".

.

A question waiting for an answer : who was the awaited prophet for the Jews?

While reading the Bible, I opened the Book of John… only a few minutes later, I read something that shocked me and kept my eyes widely opened for some time…! .

I read the following [KJV] [John1: 19-25] :[And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou? .

And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ. .

And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not.

Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No. .

And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?].

The priests asked John 3 clear questions: .

1- Are you the Christ?! .

2- Are you Elias?!! .

3- Are you that prophet?!!! (Note: they didn't ask: Are you a prophet? but: Are you THAT prophet? which means that they were asking about some specific prophet!) .

His answer to all these questions was: NO! .

Lets try to analyze those 3 questions:

the conversation here is about 3 persons – 3 prophets waited by the Jews:

1-The Christ

2-Elias

3-The Prophet

The 1st question: we know who the Christ is: Jesus son of Mary

The 2nd question: Elias, The Bible tells us that God raised him up to the heaven, and it seems that the Jews were waiting for his return.

The 3rd question: ARE YOU THAT PROPHET?!!! John replied: NO! .

So who is that awaited “PROPHET”, if it’s neither John, nor Elias, nor Jesus!!!

What is understood from these expressions is that; “that Prophet” is different from Jesus (AS). So, who is the person that revealed to the people of what he heard from God and that not lived during the time of the Prophet Jesus and mentioned as “that Prophet” other than the Prophet Jesus? Of course; the prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

For no other person apart from the Prophet Muhammad can be shown as a second person after Jesus (AS) who performed the duty of the prophethood and gained an important place in history.

Another verse Christians use is this;

"Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to determine if they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses Jesus as the Christ who has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God, and this is the spirit of the antichrist, that you have heard is coming, and now is already in the world. You are from God, little children, and have conquered them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world’s perspective and the world listens to them. We are from God; the person who knows God listens to us, but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of deceit.” [1 John 4:1-6]

Muhammad perfectly fits the description of a BELIEVER according to these passages! Note the passages state:

“By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses Jesus as the Christ who has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God, and this is the spirit of the antichrist”

So note, the person who confesses that Jesus is the Christ, is from God. Those who do not confess that Jesus is the Christ are the anti-Christ. Therefore Muhammad is from God, the prophet Muhammad did confess that Jesus is the Christ; Muhammad never confessed that Jesus is NOT the Christ:

Allah says:

“Behold! the angels said: “O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah;” [Holy Quran:3:45]

It is thus clear that Muhammad(pbuh) can NOT be the false Prophet.

So as we can see, these mains passages which Christians bring up to show Muhammad is the false prophet according to the Bible clearly fail. The prophet Muhammad does not fit any descriptions given that describe the false prophet, So hence we see that Muhammad is a person from God according to the Bible.

.

John 15:26 “But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.

This above verse clears the confusion. The Paraclete is called the "Spirit of Truth" and not the "Holy Spirit". These are two separate terms and two independent entities. The first takes the pronoun "he" being a male figure, whereas, the second one takes the pronoun "it".

"He will bear witness of me"

Note: The Quran attests the miracles performed by Jesus the Messiah. It also mentions one astonishing miracle performed by Jesus that the Gospel writers have not recorded. The Quran acknowledges that these miracles and signs were performed with the leave of Allah, by His righteous Servant and Messiah Jesus.

.

 John 14:26

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

Jesus Christ did indicate what the Paraclete to come will do in his time. Did prophet Muhammad do those things? Let's examine;

"He will teach you all things."

Note: The Quran teaches a way of life. It guides mankind, how to live a pious life socially, politically and spiritually.

"He will bring to your remembrance all that I said to you."

Note: The Quran speaks about the teaching of the righteous Jesus and even quotes him.

John 14:15-16

“If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever.

Only Prophet Muhammad's message was intended by God to be a universal and everlasting message. This agrees with the statement that the counselor will stay forever with the faithful.

.

Another verse Christians use is this:

"Jesus answered them, ‘Watch out that no one misleads you. For many will come in my name, saying, "I am the Christ," and they will mislead many ... Then if anyone says to you, "Look, here is the Christ!" or "There he is!" do not believe him. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. Remember, I have told you ahead of time.’" Matthew 24:4-5, 23-25

The prophet Muhammad certainly does not fit the description given by Jesus.

To start off, Jesus says that many will come IN MY NAME claiming I AM THE CHRIST.

The prophet Muhammad never claimed he was the Christ, that title was never given to him in the Quran, the term Christ is only given to Jesus in the Quran. Secondly, Muhammad never came in Jesus’ name; Muhammad came for Allah’s cause, not Jesus’. So therefore as we already see, the prophet Muhammad does not match the description given by Jesus.

The next description Jesus gives is that the false prophet will perform several great signs and wonders.

The prophet Muhammad does not fit this description neither. In fact one of the main arguments Christians bring up against Muhammad, is that he did not perform great miracles and signs like the former prophets. In fact the unbelievers also accused Muhammad of this:

Allah says:

"But (now), when the Truth has come to them from Ourselves, they say, "Why are not (Signs) sent to him, like those which were sent to Moses?" Do they not then reject (the Signs) which were formerly sent to Moses? They say: "Two kinds of sorcery, each assisting the other!" And they say: "For us, we reject all (such things)!" Quran (28:48)

Allah says:

"Nay; rather it is signs, clear signs in the breasts of those who have been given knowledge; and none denies Our signs but the evildoers. They say, 'Why have signs not been sent down upon him from his Lord?' Say: 'The signs are only with God, and I am only a plain warner. What, is it not SUFFICIENT FOR THEM that We have sent down upon thee the Book that is recited to them? Surely in that is a mercy, and a reminder to a people who believe".Quran (29:49-51)

So as you can see, the pagans accused the prophet Muhammad of not performing great miracles and signs. As I also mentioned, Christians themselves always bring this argument up, so hence a Christian cannot honestly take both sides of the arguments,

Christian’s must make their mind up. Did Muhammad perform great signs and wonders or did he not? If he did not, then he does not fit the description of a false prophet. This just shows double standards Christians use in their arguments.

However so, I am not saying Muhammad did not perform miracles and so on. He most certainly did, go read the

hadiths to read them for yourself.

The Quran is also a miracle and a sign. However so what I am saying is that the prophet Muhammad did not go around everyday performing miracles, and doing great wonders, this is what the Dajjal (anti-Christ) will do. So either way, the prophet Muhammad does not match that description.

Also finally, the prophet Muhammad did not try to persuade the people to believe him by major miracles and signs. This is not how went about things, so again he does not fit the description.

So as we see, those verses which Christians often bring up do not refer to Muhammad, the prophet Muhammad does not fit the description.

It is thus clear that Muhammad (pbuh) can NOT be the false Prophet.

I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, and that Muhammad is his messenger. AMEEN

.

 1. Jesus said; “If you love me, you will obey my commandments. Then I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Paraclete to be with you forever —“ (John 14:16,17)

2. Jesus said; “But the Paraclete, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and will cause you to remember everything I said to you.” (John 14: 26)

3. Jesus said; “I have told you now before theParaclete comes, so that when he comes you may believe.” (John 14: 29)

4. Jesus said; “When the Paraclete comes, whom I will send you from the Father – will testify about me…” (John 15: 26)

5. Jesus said; “But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I am going away. For if I do not go away, the Paraclete will not come to you, but if I go, I will send him to you.” (John 16: 7)

6. Jesus said; “… But when the Paracletecomes, he will guide you into all truth. For he will not speak on his own authority, but will speak whatever he hears, and will tell you what is to come.” (John 16: 13)

7. Jesus said; “… The Paraclate will glorify me, because he will receive from me what is mine and will tell it to you.” (John 16: 14)

The original word of the Biblical expression given above as Paraclete and given as good news by the prophet Jesus (PBUH) is“Munhamenna” in Syriac and “Periklytos” in Greek. The equivalent word of it in Arabic is“Ahmad”. The Greek expression of Periklytos of the Bible, that is, “Ahmad” exists as “Briklitus” in some sources. As “Ahmad” (PBUH) is a name of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), it is expressed by the Qur’an that His name is “Ahmad” in the Bible. Prophet Muhammad's prophetic Name, "Ahmed", was found in the Dead Sea Scrolls, and it was mentioned precisely in the Glorious Quran for the Prophet to be foretold by this very Name, Ahmed:

"And when Jesus the Son of Mary said, O children of Israel, verily I am the Apostle of God sent unto you, confirming the law which was delivered before me, and bringing good tidings of an Apostle who shall come after me, and whose name shall be Ahmed. And when he produced unto them evident miracles, they said, this is manifest sorcery. (The Noble Quran, 61:6)"

And also all characteristics that were mentioned above are owned only by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Then, it is the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) who is mentioned as the awaited person in the Bible and given the good news about.

Jesus (pbuh) actually prophesised Ahmed by name. Even the Greek word Paraclete refers to the Prophet (pbuh) who is a mercy for all creatures.

Besides, the word of “Paraclete” is explained in Biblical interpretations as "the rightful person who will distinguish the truth and falsehood"; that it, is the name of the person who will lead humans to the truth after Jesus (AS). Can anyone other than Hz. Muhammad (PBUH) who performed this duty more than him be shown in this world?

Now we leave it up to you to read and analyze these and the other prophecies in our post Prophet Muhammad in the Bibleand decide for yourself whether Muhammad is a prophet of God or not. You do not need to tell us or anyone else out there what you decided, just be honest to yourself and ask God Almighty to guide you to the truth no matter whatever it maybe. You can also get your free copy of the Holy Qur'an revealed to Muhammad (pbuh) and analyze it yourself.

As Jesus said, “You shall know the truth, and the truth  shall make you free” (John 8:32).

.

Regarding the Question of Prophets after Jesus, your Bible says that there will be false prophets and there will be true prophets as well and bible itself gives the criteria to judge the false and true prophet.

Jesus said that By thier Fruits you will come to know that who is true and who is false, because good tree will have good fruit and bad tree will have bad fruit.

No part of the Bible says that there is no prophet after Jesus (pbuh). However, the following criterion is given in order to recognize the ones who claim prophethood:

“Recognize them by their fruit and identify the liar and truthful…”

If there had not been any prophets after Jesus (pbuh), he could have given a short and decisive answer like this:

“There will not be any prophets after me, He who claims prophethood after me, is definitely a liar.” So, the method of Jesus (pbuh) for identifying the liar and truthful prophet is a proof which is enough for the coming of a new prophet after Jesus.

The coming of a prophet after Jesus (pbuh) is also enough for the prophethood of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) because after Jesus (pbuh), the fruitful result of the forming of societies who believe in God, reliance for God, love for God and quitting of idol worshipping was achieved only with the religion that was brought by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

Why are you afraid to apply this test to the teachings of Muhammad ? You will find in the Last Testament of God - the Qur'an - the true fulfilment of the teachings of Moses and Jesus which will bring to the world the much-needed peace and happiness.

"If a man like Muhammad  were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems that would bring it the much needed peace and happiness." (George Bernard Shaw)

The most growing religion in the world is ISLAM..Take more...

Look at how many priests and preachers converted to Islam, and then see how many Muslim Scholar converted to Christianity?

When we look at Islam as a world religion, and see that 1.6 billion people and growing are following in the way of Muhammad, the time has surely come to recognize him as a prophet. If Muhammad is not a prophet, who is?

More over if read your bible carefully you come to know another criteria in 1st epistle of john (4:1) says the soul meaning the prophet that confesseth that the Jesus (PBUH) is the Christ is of God (is the true Prophet) And Muhammad (PBUH) confessed that Jesus is the Christ.and in John 16 Jesus (PBUH) again says about Spirit of truth, that is indeed Muhammad ( PBUH ). Because Muhammad is the comforter , Muhammad (PBUH) is the spirit of truth who confessed that Jesus is the Christ, Muhammad is that True prophet who told the very "Many Things" unto us who Jesus wantes to say but could not say because people of His time were not mentally and spirtually able to bear those things,Muhammad is that spirit of truth who came, and who guided the mankind of all the truth, who did not speak from Himself but only which He heard from the God who declared all the things to come, and who Glorified Jesus (PBUH). He is the Natural successor to the christ.

Prophet Mohammed in the New Testament Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 7:

.

"Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter (Paraclete) will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you"

.

This verse clearly tells us that the coming of the Paraclete was subject to the departure of Jesus.

Some Christians say that the Comforter mentioned in these prophecies refers to the Holy Sprit. They fail to realise that the prophecy clearly says that only if Jesus (pbuh) departs will the Comforter come. The Bible states that the Holy Spirit was already present on earth before and during the time of Jesus (pbuh), in the womb of Elizabeth. It was in existence since the day of the Creation and was hovering upon the surface of the earth (Genesis 1:2). And again when Jesus (pbuh) was being baptised, etc.in the early part of his ministry. So, how could Jesus say; "but if I go, I will send Holy Spirit"? Hence this prophecy refers to none other than Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

Jesus said; “I shall not speak with you for much longer, for the ruler of the world is coming, and I am nothing compared with him.“(John 14: 30)

After the Prophet Jesus (Pbuh), who came other than the Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) as the master of the world and distinguished the right from the wrong and showed humans the true path? And who is worthy of having the title of“the ruler of the world” other than him? And which prophet after Hz. Dawud (Pbuh) other than the prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) spread his religion from the west to the east and established a tax system in countries and conquered the hearts of sultans and one fifth of the humanity praised him with prayers and glorification every day? Who can other than Hz. Muhammad (Pbuh) be shown as a single person who performed them all? So, the expression used for the person after the Jesus (Pbuh) in the Bible as “the ruler of the world” is for the prophet Muhammad (Pbuh). His famous title is “the pride of universe”.

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: "The Prophet said:

Every Prophet used to be sent to his nation only but I have been sent to all mankind.' (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Rubbing hands and feet with dust (Tayammum), Volume 1, Book 7, Number 331)"

Let's compare the Saying of our beloved Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him to what our beloved Prophet of GOD Almighty to the People of Israel, Jesus peace be upon him said:

"He (Jesus) answered, 'I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.' (From the NIV Bible, Matthew 15:24)" Jesus peace be upon him was only sent to the Jews.  Muhammad peace be upon him was sent to all mankind, as a mercy and to close off all Divine Revelations.  Allah says in the Holy Quran about Prophet Muhammad:

we have not sent you (prophet muhammad) except as a mercy to all the worlds".(21:107)

“And We have not sent you (O Muhammad) except as a giver of glad tidings and a warner to all mankind” (34:28)

.

Prophet Mohammed in the Old Testament Muhammad (pbuh) is prophesied in the book of Isaiah chapter 29 verse 12:

"And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned."

When Archangel Gabrail commanded Muhammad (pbuh) by saying Iqra - "Read", he replied, "I am not learned".

Isaiah 29:12

And when they give the book to one who cannot read, saying, “Read this,” he says, “I cannot read.”

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 1, Number 3: Muhammad before he become a Prophet used to come to this cave once a year for many days and meditate and ponder over all aspects of creation around him , and His heart was restless about the moral evils and idolatry that were rampant among his people, and one day while he was in the cave and he was 40 years old , angel Gabriel came to him on a shape of a man and he had a cloth and a book in it and he asked him to read and Muhammad Said I can not read then Gabriel hugged and squeezed him until the prophet thought it is death, then he released him and asked him to read and the Prophet said i can not read then he did as the fist time and released him and asked him to read and the Prophet said i can not read , then he hugged him for the third time and released him and gave hime the first revelation
